Some 25,000 blind and visually impaired persons holding a blind person certificate live in Israel. <\/strong><\/p>

The community includes blinds from birth; a walking cane assists some, and guide dogs help about 300 people, many integrate in work circles.<\/p>

Technology innovations currently provide greater accessibility, which results in increasing independence.<\/p>

\n\t\t\t\t\t\tMy name is Lili Goldwein; I am 69 years old, and my mobility is with a guide dog. I am a mother of 4, and with my dear husband, Mickey we are fortunate to have nine grandchildren.
